The Dirty Picture is the Bollywood film which portrays the
life of Silk Smitha, a famous actress of South Indian languages. Vidhya Balan
played the role as Silk Smitha and she won the National Award for her
performance in this film. Nayanthara is going to replace the role of
Vidhyabalan in its remake.
The makers of the movie planned to remake the Dirty Picture
in Tamil and Telugu languages. They searched for the leading actress to do the
female protagonist. Earlier Anushka Shetty, Richa Gangopadhyay have been
approached but they made vibes to do this coveted role. Finally Nayanthara
confirmed to act in this movie, but she kept some distance as she wants the film
makers to pay the demanded price.
The buzz is that the producers of the movie Ekta Kapoor and
her Balaji Motion Pictures have agreed to pay her demanded whooping price since
she is the leading actress In Tamil and Telugu film industry. The film is a women centered movie, so the
actress who performs this role will have a good scope. The film will be
released in both languages.
Nayanthara is currently engaged in Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum
a Telugu movie and Untitled Boopathy Pandian and Vishnuvardhan Projects in
Tamil language. It is said that
Nayan is happy to be the part of this movie but she is yet to sign in the
dotted lines for the movie Dirty Picture.
The Dirty Picture is a Hindi movie directed by Milan Luthria
starring Vidhya Balan in the lead role with Naseeruddin Shah, Tusshar Kapoor
and Emraan HashmiI. In spite of critics and claims to stop the movie the film
makers successfully screened the movie and it was the blockbuster in the
previous year.
