Surya to launch audio of Karthi’s Sakuni

Sakuni is the forthcoming bilingual movie of Karthi. The trailer was released recently making more expectations among the audience. Now the film makers planned to release the music on June 2nd


The buzz is that Surya will be launching the audio of Sakuni. G. V. Prakash kumar has composed the music and the album has five songs. This is the second film for the music director to compose music for Karthi, while the first movie is Aayiraththil Oruvan directed by Selvaraghavan.Na. Muthukumar, Vivega, Paramu and Annamalai penned the lyrics. The two tracks like a duet song Vella pambaram and a folk song Pottadhu pathala are publicized in radio channels on Karthi’s Birthday that is on May 25th as a treat to the fans of Karthi. Both the tracks become hits before the audio launch.


The report says that the director N. Lingusamy is also joining this inauguration function.Lingusamy and Surya will jointly launch the audio album of Sakuni. This grand audio launching function is scheduled to be held at Sathyam Cinemas.Regarding this movie the director Shankar Dayal stated that some portions of the film are shot to suit the local interests of the Telugu audience and the Telugu audio release will take place on June 5th.


Sakuni is the most awaited political thriller movie written and directed by N. Shankar Dayal and produced by Antony Xavier under the banner of Dream Warrior Pictures. P. G. Muthiah helmed camera and the editing work done by A. Sreekar Prasad. Karthi and Pranitha played the lead roles with Santhanam, Radhika Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Roja, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Mumtaj, Nasser and Salim Ghouse, while Anushka Shetty is donning a cameo.
