Bappi Lahiri is crooning for first Tamil song.

Bappi Lahiri is a famous music director cum singer in Hindi film Industry. He was popular in 1980s, especially in singing sinthesized disco music in Indian movies. He has sung many songs in Hindi films produced by the South Indian movie makers but prevented himself in singing songs for south Indian languages. Now the Tamil film director Prabhu Raja Cholan roped him in his debut film Karuppampatti to sing a disco song.

Bappi Lahiri is choosy in selecting the next song after the great success of the Ooh la la in The Dirty Picture which was sung by him. The buzz is that the film maker Prabhu Raja and the music Composer Kannan has successfully roped Bappi to record a Tamil disco song called Naughty Raja Raja.

Karuppampatti is the upcoming Tamil language film starring Ajmal Ameer, Aparnaa Bajpai, Archana, Ashima Bhalla and Sathish.P, written and directed by Prabhu Raja Cholan. This is the debut film for the director Prabhu Raja Cholan. The music composition is done by Kannan. The cinematography is being done by Sanjeevi Sathyaseelan and produced by Sundar.

'Naughty Raja Raja’ is written by Kabilan which is an Elvis Presley kind of a song. Bappi is the right choice to croon this song that no other could do it. The makers of the movie had sent the track of the song to him and the Bappi agreed to sing the song after hearing the track. The director and the composer has flown to Mumbai to record this disco song at a studio. Karuppampatti is expected to hit the screens in the month of May.
