Naan Ee is the upcoming Tamil project with Nani, Samantha and Sudeep in the lead roles. Santhanam is playing a crucial role in this movie. Naan Ee is the Tamil – Telugu bilingual film written and directed by S. S. Rajamouli. The Telugu version of this movie is titled as Eega. The movie of Tamil version is expected to release on may 30.
S. S. Rajamouli is a Telugu director who directed Maryaadha Ramana, Magadhheera which is dubbed in Tamil as Maaveeran are blockbuster movies. The buzz is that the film maker is now directing a bilingual movie Naan Ee which is at the completion stage. The music direction of this movie is done by M.M.Keeravani, were the lyrics penned by Madhan Karky. The cinematography is being done by K. K. Senthil Kumar. The budget of this film is about 50 crores and is being produced by PVP cinemas.Nani is a Telugu actor had his debut in Tamil film industry through Veppam movie. Samantha is currently busy in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages as she is flooded with movies in her hands. She is acting in all the versions of a trilingual movie Neethane en ponvasantham, Maniratham’s Kadal and in Telugu movies like Autonagar Surya and Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu.
The audio launch of Naan Ee movie was held at Sathyam cinemas on 1st April in which actors like Surya, Karthik and directors like Parthiben, Lingusamy and Bala attended the event. Naan Ee is initially planned to release in the month of April 2012 but due to CGI and VFX work in this movie, it is getting delayed. Now the movie is under post production stage which is expected to hit the screens on 30th of May.
