Singam 2 is the upcoming Tamil project in which Surya is going to do his first sequel. Singam is the blockbuster movie directed by Hari, in which Surya, Anushka, Vivek, Vijayakumar and Prakash Raj starred in it. Now the crew is going to join hands again in singam 2. In Singam the comedy track was done by Vivek but in its sequel Santhanam is going to join with him. Both of them have their own style and identification in comedy. The combination of Santhanam and Vivek in Singam 2 is expected to be a laugh riot of the century.
The shooting of Singam 2 will start from the month of June. Director Hari has completed the full screenplay for this movie. Surya is currently busy in the shooting of Maatran directed by K. V. Anand. He will start shooting for Singam 2 soon after he wraps up from Maatran.
Anushka, who had acted in Singam has been signed for this part 2 and Hansika is joining with her for the lead heroines of this film. The other casts like Nasser, Radharavi, Vijayakumar and Rehman are acting in this movie.
The music direction is being done by Devi Sri Prasad who worked in the first sequel and Priyan will handle the camera. This movie is being produced by Lakshmanan under the banner of Prince Pictures. The director who penned the story, screenplay and diologues has been planned to shoot the sequences in Chennai, Tuticorin, Hyderabad, Thirunelveli and Kaaraikudi and to shoot some important action scenes and songs in South Africa.
